My passion lies in unearthing reservoirs of resilience—both individual and collective—and tapping into the strength that allows us not just to survive, but to thrive. I believe we each carry an innate wisdom and capacity for healing, and my work is dedicated to helping others remember, reclaim, and embody that truth.
My journey has taken me through the full spectrum of human experience: celebration, illness, grief, and trauma. While many of the roads I’ve walked have been life-affirming, there have also been unexpected detours and challenging terrain. For a long time, I navigated life by enduring—pushing through hardship with a familiar “I’m FINE” exterior, even when I felt isolated and overwhelmed inside.
FINE — Feelings Inside Not Expressed
As a child, my hyper-vigilance and external focus disconnected me from my body and emotions. I wore many masks to get by. It wasn’t until 2005—twenty-five years after the tragic death of my parents—that something shifted. A friend invited me to a Grief Recovery Method workshop. I went to support her, not realizing I was stepping into one of the most transformative experiences of my life.
That first session changed everything. A compassionate facilitator saw through my armor and gently invited me to do my own work. That moment opened a doorway to healing I didn’t know I needed. For the first time, I gave voice to long-buried grief, and I experienced the power of expressing vulnerability in community. No one turned away. No one dismissed my pain. Instead, I felt seen, held, and empowered to create a new relationship with both death and change.
Since then, I’ve deepened my path through integrative practices such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, and continued work with the Grief Recovery Method. These modalities have helped me cultivate balance, move with life’s rhythms, and reconnect with my body’s intelligence. They’ve guided me to return—again and again—to my center, where I can rest in authenticity and vitality.

Today, my work is grounded in the concept of Rhythmic Balance—a dynamic, embodied approach to well-being that harmonizes breath, movement, mindfulness, emotional processing, and ancient wisdom. It’s the culmination of all I’ve lived, practiced, and integrated.
Through retreats, workshops, and curated wellness experiences, I support individuals and communities to:

I have studied with therapeutic practitioners locally and internationally for over 20 years. I have been co-facilitating week-long wellness retreats in Costa Rica for over 10 years.
My trainings include: IIQTC (Institute of Integral Qigong & Tai Chi) Tai Chi Easy & Healer Within Practice Leader Senior Trainer, Taiji for Balance Practice Leader, 200 hr. Registered Yoga Teacher, Delay the Disease Practice Leader, and Grief Recovery Method Specialist. My background also includes embodied leadership and Polarity.
